Privacy policy

This policy explains how FPL Pro (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use fantasy.premierleague.pro (the “Service”). We may update this page from time to time and will post the new version here.

1. Who we are

FPL Pro is a fantasy Premier League analytics and planning Service. For UK GDPR we are the controller of personal data processed through this website. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.

2. Information we collect

We may collect and process:

• Name and email address, and a unique account identifier, when you register with email or Google sign-in
• Your Fantasy Premier League team ID and related squad data (picks, captain and vice, and planning choices you save) when you link a team or import a squad
• Device and browser information
• Usage and interaction data (pages you open and how you use the Service)
• Cookies, advertising identifiers and similar online identifiers

We collect this when you register, use the Service, or through the cookies described in section 9. If you do not provide the information needed to create an account or load a team, we may not be able to provide those parts of the Service.

3. How we use your information

We use your information for the following purposes, with the UK GDPR lawful basis for each:

• Create and manage your account, keep you signed in, and provide support: contract
• Load your FPL team, show ratings, projections, planning tools and recommendations: contract
• Keep the Service secure and prevent abuse: legitimate interests
• Understand how the Service is used and improve it: legitimate interests for that analysis; consent where cookies are involved (section 9)
• Show advertising while the Service is free: consent for personalised advertising cookies; non-personalised ads may still appear if you reject
• Send essential service messages about your account: contract or legitimate interests

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object at any time (section 8). We do not use your personal information for other purposes without your consent, unless required by law.

4. AI and machine learning

We use automated models to analyse football and FPL data and to generate projections, ratings and recommendations (for example predicted points or transfer ideas). These outputs do not produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

The models use publicly available football statistics, match data and player performance records, plus the squad or team ID you choose to link. Your name and email address are not used to train those models.

5. Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run the Service. We share data with the following categories of provider, only as needed for the purposes above:

• Hosting, storage and authentication (running the Service and your account)
• Advertising partners (showing ads; with your consent, personalised advertising)
• The official Fantasy Premier League public API, using a team ID you provide, to load public entry and pick data

These providers act on our instructions under contract, except advertising platforms, which may act as independent controllers under their own policies. We do not sell your personal information. A list of providers is available on request at privacy@premierleague.pro.

6. Transfers and storage

Your data may be processed or stored in the UK, the EU or the United States, depending on where our infrastructure or providers are located. Where data leaves the UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision or a standard contractual mechanism approved for UK transfers.

7. How long we keep it

• Account and squad data: while your account is open, then a short wind-down after deletion
• Security and abuse logs: only as long as needed for those purposes
• Advertising and cookie consent records: for the life of your choice, until you change it

Anonymous or aggregated data may be kept longer.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access, correct or delete your data
• Restrict how we process it
• Request a portable copy
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

To exercise these rights, email privacy@premierleague.pro. We aim to respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies on the website:

• Strictly necessary: required for the Service to work (for example staying signed in and remembering your cookie choice). Always active.
• Advertising: used by advertising partners to show ads. Personalised advertising cookies run only after you Accept on our banner. If you Reject, ads may still appear but are not personalised from our consent signal.

You can accept or reject advertising cookies on first visit. To change your mind later, clear site data for this domain (or email us) and the banner will return.

10. Age

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will take steps to delete their data and close their account.

11. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
